Linklaters leads on HMV administration

International firm Linklaters has taken a dual role in the administration of HMV.
Both HMV's banks and administrators are instructing Linklaters during the wind-up process. HMV had also been advised by Simmons & Simmons for several years, but Legal Week reports that the City firm may not be taking a role in the administration.
HMV employs approximately 4,500 people across 250 stores, but the music and DVD retailer had to call in the administrators on 15 January.
