Osborne Clarke LLP has achieved a 19% increase in global revenues with the firm planning to pay bonuses of at least £2,500 to UK staff.
The international firm posted a revenue of €407 million (£350 million) for 2021/22, which was up from €341 million (£293 million) in 2020/21 and a 66% increase over five years.
In the UK, Osborne Clarke’s income increased by 20% to £199 million from £166 million in 2020/21, with net profit increasing 14%. Profit per equity partner went up 11% to £796,000.
Osborne Clarke’s international CEO, Omar Al-Nuaimi, described it as “a fantastic year”, commenting, “I’m so proud of the hard work and dedication of our teams. While market conditions have been favourable, our business strategy is driving stronger client relationships and delivering strong results.”
The firm cites its US platform, new team in Poland and “international approach to ESG” as key factors for its growing success. Osborne Clarke’s UK sectors, including real estate, financial services, technology, media and communications and life sciences performed well with strong income growth.
