Stone King offers a one week unpaid virtual insight scheme for law and non-law undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates in April. The scheme is designed to give you invaluable experience into the world of law. You will meet people from across the firm and get an insight into life as a solicitor.

At SK, our structured scheme offers more than just shadowing fee earners, in addition to the time you spend in your department, you will also have the opportunity to attend various workshops as well as Q&A and networking sessions.

As a trainee or apprentice solicitor here at Stone King, we view you as the future of our firm and future leader of your chosen area of law which is why we invest our time and expertise into providing a valuable and supportive training experience. We are national leaders in the fields of charity and education and in addition have highly regarded teams in the private client, faith and business sectors. 

Our training contracts are divided into four seats of six months each, allowing you to get real hands on experience in a team that values your contribution. 

With the SQE being introduced, we have seen the development of more pathways to qualification being introduced, such as solicitor apprenticeships. SK are currently operating this scheme and already have a number of apprentices on this route. 

Stone King's annual graduate recruitment will consist of recruiting trainees on both the traditional route ‘training contract’ and the ‘graduate entry apprenticeship’. To be eligible for the graduate entry solicitor apprenticeship candidates must have completed or be on route to complete thier law degree or GDL. The SQE is included in the apprenticeship and the firm covers the cost of the apprenticeship. 

Our apprentices are part of the trainee cohort and have the oppurtunity to experience different areas of law.
