Applications will open in November 2023 for training contracts starting in 2025. The application deadline is 6 February 2024 and applications will be reviewed once the application window has closed.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an assessment centre in March. Candidates who are successful at the assessment centre will then be invited to take part in a vacation scheme in June.

Our vacation scheme offers experience in a variety of areas, including: charities and education, commercial, commercial litigation, employment, regulatory compliance, private client (contentious probate and wills and trusts), and real estate (including construction and property litigation).

We have an excellent reputation for training and offer our trainees responsibility from day one. We provide four seats of six months in a variety of teams, including charities, commercial, commercial litigation, employment, regulatory compliance, private client (contentious probate and wills and trusts), and real estate (including construction and property litigation). Therefore trainees benefit from experience in a wide range of practice areas before qualification.
The first trainees joining us on the SQE will do so in 2024. We continue to welcome candidates who already have the LPC and can continue to support those candidates to qualify through the LPC/PSC route. Candidates who don't have the LPC will be sponsored on an LLM course which incorporates SQE1 and SQE2.

Candidates who have been offered and have accepted a training contract with the firm may be eligible for sponsorship of tuition fees whilst studying for an LLM incoroporating SQE1 and SQE2. VWV offers a maintenance grant to help with living expenses for those candidates who receive SQE sponsorship.
