Find out which firms offer conversion course sponsorship by using our Training contract search.
Many firms offer to pay their future trainees’ PGDL and SQE fees if they’ve been recruited at undergraduate level. Some will even retrospectively pay those fees if a recruit has already started one of the courses.
In addition, several firms also pay a maintenance grant to students while they’re studying the course(s). It may be that when it comes to selecting a firm at which to train, this kind of financial incentive and support is a critical factor.
Fees associated with SQE preparation courses and assessments will be covered by some firms where the aspiring lawyer has secured a training contract with the firm. As ever, though, it’s vital you continue to check with your shortlisted firms to find out whether they’re planning to support their future lawyers through the SQE.
